As part of the Girls for Climate Action camp held on October 11–13 in the Lankaran region, UNFPA Azerbaijan organized a unique exhibition celebrating responsible fatherhood. The exhibition showcased 30 striking photos of fathers and their children, captured during various activities conducted under the EU 4 Gender Equality programme in Azerbaijan.
Displayed throughout the three-day camp, the photographs highlighted the deep bonds between fathers and their children and illustrated the many ways fathers actively participate in caregiving. This initiative underscored the importance of shared parenting responsibilities in fostering gender equality.
Both the exhibition and the Girls for Climate Action camp are integral components of UNFPA Azerbaijan’s pre-COP29 activities. These efforts aim to raise awareness of gender equality and inclusivity as critical elements of climate action, leading up to the UN Climate Change Conference (COP29), scheduled to take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11–22, 2024.
